Pedal
the past along the beautiful Mawddach Estuary and find out about the
people, industries and natural forces that have shaped the countryside
around you. The gently paced 3 hour tours are led by qualified bike
guides and have plenty of stops along the way to take in stunning views
of the Mawddach estuary and the surrounding hills. There will be a chance
to hear about the natural history of the area and the impact of farming,
shipbuilding, mining and the arrival of the railway. The trails we use
are relatively flat and well surfaced, and we will be making frequent
stops to take in sites (and sights) of interest, making this a fun trip
out for all ages and abilities. The Dolgellau to Barmouth route was
recently highlighted by Julia Bradbury on her "Railway Walks"
program on the BBC where she met Coed Cae's own Jacky.
